Life along the Emerald Coast has a symmetry and a rhythm to it, an essential harmony of sea and sand, sky and wind. When I moved here and began my real estate career two decades ago, the buildings of the time reflected a slower pace and a simpler time, reminiscent of the many summer vacations my family and I spent here throughout my childhood. Since then, my career has flourished, my love of architecture has deepened and the luxury property market has come of age. Master planning, architectural codes and modern amenities have become the norm rather than the exception.

Although I was born in New York and moved around with my family, I spent most of my childhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. After settling in Charlotte, my parents discovered Destin and purchased vacation property here. When retirement time arrived they said goodbye to North Carolina. After a couple of years of visiting them here, I just could not live in Charlotte anymore. The sky and the sand of the beautiful beaches called out to me, and I moved here permanently in 1982.

Soon after I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida, I began my real estate career at the Neighborhood of Caribe, one of Destin's earliest premier architect-designed communities. I discovered my love of architecture at Caribe, and stayed there for the next seven years as onsite sales associate.

Following the completion of the Neighborhood of Caribe, I moved to a large national real estate company, where, year after year, I received honors reserved for the top three percent of agents in the entire system.

I believe a successful real estate transaction reflects the same harmony, flow and competence that characterize superior architectural elements. My extensive real estate experience together with my accounting background provides me with the necessary tools for a well-managed, smooth and enjoyable process.
